Squares #138 &139 from Illinois

These 2 squares are from a family in Illinois who adopted their daughter from China in December of 2006.
The wish says:
This fabric represents two of the many wonderful things about Louisiana-peppers and Mardi Gras. Peppers are used to create Tabasco-developed and bottled in Louisiana. Mardi Gras is one last hurrah before Lent. Cajun culture is still alive in Louisiana-especially it's sayings.
"Lassiez les bon temps fouler!" Let the good times roll!
Lanigappe-A little something extra.
May your life be enjoyable and find that something extra.
